Frequently asked questions

What does Ermera do?

It connects your invoicing software to your payment gateway and handles the whole collection cycle: it sends the payment request on the right date, follows the amount until it is received, and reconciles it. The invoice and the receipt keep coming out of your certified software.

What kinds of charge can I automate?

Four: retainers (a fixed recurring amount), payment plans (a single amount split into instalments), payment agreements (several invoices bundled into one instalment plan) and the collection of invoices already outstanding in your software.

Is Ermera only for businesses with recurring billing?

No. Retainers are only one of the four ways to charge. If you issue invoices and chase payments (in instalments, under an agreement, or simply overdue), Ermera automates that cycle just the same.

Does Ermera replace my invoicing software?

No. Ermera integrates with the certified invoicing software you already use (Moloni, Cegid PHC GO, InvoiceXpress, Cegid Jasmin, Cegid Vendus). Invoices and receipts keep being issued by the system already running in your company. Ermera takes care of the charging and of tracking the money in.

Do I need to change payment gateway?

No. Ermera connects to the gateway you already use. If you don't have one yet, we help you pick the one that fits your business during onboarding.

What payment methods can I offer my customers?

Through the integrations with SIBS, IfThenPay, Stripe, Eupago and Easypay, you can offer MB WAY, Multibanco references, SEPA direct debit, credit and debit card.

Is Ermera suitable for my business if I have few customers?

Yes. Ermera was designed for businesses of any size. Even with few customers, automation reduces manual work and gives you visibility over what has been charged and what is still owed.

Can I change plans at any time?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan whenever you want. The change is applied on the next billing cycle.

Are my data and my customers' data safe?

Yes. We use HTTPS/SSL encryption, payment data is handled exclusively by certified processors, and access to the platform is protected by authentication. Check our Privacy Policy for more details.
